DECOLONIZING GLOBAL HEALTH -SWEDEN i Stockholm

This programme equips you with skills to appreciate and analyse global health problems and to develop and evaluate actions to improve public health. The programme is composed of compulsory and elective courses and includes planning, performing, analysing and reporting an independent research project 2019-07-12 The Department of Global Public Health is a multidisciplinary department with the aim to advance knowledge about challenges and opportunities for public health in a local, national, and global setting. The department has 9 research groups, about 80 doctoral students and around 140 employees. Before 1 December 2019 the department was named the Department of Public Health Sciences (PHS). The education and research programmes address the health challenges in low- and middle-income countries and in humanitarian crises. By developing and evaluating interventions and new strategies for tackling priority health problems, IMCH makes important contributions towards equitable global health.
